KRHA Exhibits at Public Health Conference
Diane Sturges, co-chair of the Kentucky
Rural Health Association’s public
information committee, recently staffed the
KRHA exhibit booth during the Kentucky
Public Health Association’s 59th
annual conference.
The event, “Public Health – Today’s
Investment in Tomorrow,” was held March
26-29, 2007, at the Executive West Hotel in
Louisville and attracted more than 800
health officials from across the state.
Sturges answered attendees’ questions about
KRHA and supplied them with informational
brochures and promotional items.
Sturges is a program coordinator for the
Kentucky State Office of Rural Health,
housed at the University of Kentucky Center
for Rural Health in Hazard. She previously
has staffed the KRHA exhibit booth at the
Kentucky Association of Counties and
Kentucky League of Cities conferences.
